Remembrance

I was unsure how to commemorate this anniversary, until I found these 2 cartoons on politicalhumor.about.com (a site I highly recommend). They express my feelings better than I could have; the first speaks to the true, immutable nature of loss, while the second addresses the only fitting response to that loss.

I imagine a lot of Americans are deciding today whether to mourn with Fox News, CNN, or MSNBC. As for me, I think I'll hug Keturah, play with my cats, call my family to tell them that I love and miss them, and avoid the media frenzy.
