Where's the Welcome Wagon?

Okay, so I've been threatening to do it for some time, and now I've finally done it. Stung by accusations of being "a mere rest stop on the information superhighway," I've leapt headlong and pellmell into the hurly-burly, hugger-mugger, catch-as-catch-can brave new world of blogging.

Now that I've officially arrived at my destination, I'm in need of a nap. More later.
